Next meeting

Our next meeting will be held on Monday 13th March 2006 - when we shall be joined by John de Gruchy: 'Being human, being Christian: an antidote to fundamentalism and secularism'. Until his recent retirement, John was Professor of Christian Studies at the University of Cape Town. John's 'theological biography' is soon being published by SCM and he wishes to introduce its main themes (see seminar title) and invite conversation. He is a world figure not just for his theology and writing but also for his engagement with the churches in the struggle against apartheid. He is coming from South Africa to deliver one of the lectures in the current Hugh Price Hughes series and has kindly made himself available for this extended MICCG meeting. Miss it and you will kick yourself! Admission Free.

We start as usual at 12.30p.m. and meet at King's Cross Methodist Church.

Welcome to MICCG!

We gather as a group from across London every 6 weeks.

We represent some of the varied Methodist Church ministries from the diverse urban areas of London.

We are both lay and ordained, full and part time workers as well as ministry students of all kinds and occasional visitors!

At our meetings we share insights, discuss issues and spread the good news about inner urban Christian ministry in London.

You are very welcome to join us - click on future meetings for details.
